Cognitive Hypnotherapy draws on various approaches from evolutionary psychology, positive psychology, cognitive theory and NLP, and integrates them to provide a different approach to hypnotherapy.  It has a core belief that clients have all the resources they need already and that the way they do their problem contains the code to how they can successfully attain their desired outcome.

 

People experience trance states frequently as an everyday occurrence.  Most people live in a state of trance, a kind of auto-pilot mode.  The aim of cognitive hypnotherapy is to de-hypnotise them.  It focuses on present experiences and also looks to the past for the root of the problem as well as the future you wish to bring about.

 

I will look for patterns in when, how and why your problem occurs whilst looking for the unique way you understand and relate to the world.  I use that information to introduce tailored approaches to engage you in realising your solution that weave together your operating system with your own words.
